Taiwanese giant Asus, best known for its Nexus and FonePad range of tablets, is all set to enter Indian handset market in the end of Q2 of this year, a senior official over at Asus told GizBot. Originally introduced at the CES 2014, the Asus ZenFone series powered by Intel will finally make its way into India during the June/ July time frame. The latest ZenFone series was first launched in Taiwan and China earlier this year, with the company also announcing that the Intel-powered Android handsets will be made available in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. Speaking exclusively to GizBot, Peter Chang, Regional Head - South Asia & India Manager System Business Group - ASUS, revealed that the company will launch the ZenFone series in the end of Q2 or in the beginning of Q3. "We've have a plan to launch in India. Our target is to launch it in the end of Q2 to begin with Q3, so but the detailed launch will be shared at a later stage. We'll launch the whole series not only one".
