ASUS ZenFone Nabs 2014 Red Dot Awards for Product Design

Asus Zenfone
ASUS recently announced that its soon-to-be-released ZenFone has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2014 in the Mobile Phone category. The winner was chosen from 4,815 entries from companies in 53 countries and was assessed based on its degree of innovation, functionality and ergonomics by the Red Dot jury, which comprised 40 design experts from around the world and is the largest in the history of the awards.
The ASUS ZenFone is available with a 4-inch, 5-inch, or 6-inch display and comes in a variety of colors. The face of the ZenFone features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for damage and scratch resistance, and a brushed metal lower bezel with the concentric circle finish.
Featuring the ASUS ZenUI, the ZenFone interface is developed around the concepts of freedom, expression and connection. Its minimalist design uses modern 'flat' icons, vivid device-matching color themes, animations, new ringtones and notification sounds, and a clean layout to present information clearly.
The ASUS ZenUI also comes with exclusive apps like What's Next and Do It Later, which help users manage information and enable them to be more productive. It even includes a free open instant messaging app, powered by Omlet Chat on the Omlet Open Messaging Platform, that lets users share almost any kind of content easily with anyone, on any phone.
