Asus introduced its new smartphone line – the ZenFone series back in January. We have seen a lot of devices from the Transformer and Padfone series as the Taiwanese company is focusing on the development of tablets, laptops, convertible tablets and hybrid devices. The introduction of Asus ZenFone marked a new beginning for Asus as it finally re-enters the smartphone market.
According to the details from POSTEL Indonesia, a new device with the name of ZenFone C has been certified today, 11 March 2014. The Asus ZenFone C comes with the model number of T00Q. This is also the first time we saw the appearance of Asus ZenFone C in the public database. Unfortunately, we are able to know further about the Asus ZenFone C.
Other than the Asus ZenFone C T00Q, Asus PadFone Mini has been certified on the same day and the filings being submitted by two different companies in Indonesia. The POSTEL database also revealed Asus ZenFone 4 T00I and Asus ZenFone 6 T00G were certified in last month. Surprisingly, then we are unable to spot the Asus ZenFone 5 in the Indonesian database.
Asus ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 are the smartphones with different display sizes where the ZenFone 6 is the largest and the ZenFone 4 is the smallest. The ZenFone 6 is packed with the highest end specs compared to the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 4. Of course, the price of Asus ZenFone 6 is also the most expensive among all three devices.
From our point of view, the Asus ZenFone C T00Q could be another variant of the ZenFone series. Asus might not use the Intel processor that can be found on other ZenFone devices. The real identity of the Asus ZenFone C is likely to be unveiled in the near future.
